For those who are unable to retrieve the game list

First off, we are aware of the problems people are having, and just want to ask for your patience on this, as it is currently still the weekend here in the US. At this time what I can say is that the majority of the people having problems with downloading the server list are from geographic regions relatively far away from the US, like Eastern Asia/New Zealand/Australia, with a few posters having issues from specific ISPs in other areas also (a few in the US). Because of the high high concentration of NZ/AU posts and ISP specific (Cox/Optus/Telco) posts, please realize that there very may well be a connection problem between those ISP's and the master server that is currently out of our control.

From the console.logs I've been reviewing in the technical support section, the ones I've reviewed are having the same problem. A timeout occurs because their client was unable to finish downloading all the game list data in 30 seconds. For a full server list (Selecting "Any" as your region) it is downloading 500-800kb of data. So if your client is unable to download a stream of data this size in less than 30 seconds you are going to get a 0 of 0 games showing message.

What this tells me is that players may be selecting the Pre-Query Filter, but are NOT selecting a region. The Pre-Query Filter MUST be selected IN CONJUNCTION with a region, or it does absolutely nothing.

If you are unable to download more than 200-300k from the master server (located in US) in 30 seconds you will be unable to retrieve the game list. Please try selecting a specific server region (Not US - ALL or EU- All). Use a server region like US - Central for testing as you should have no problem download a smaller server list.

Here is a little list of things review to try to debug/help you get your game list:

1) Make sure you click the Pre-Query Filter on the game list and have it turned *ON*
2) Make sure a region is selected from the "Region" drop down, if you are getting no server list at all, select a region with fewer servers like US - Central.
3) Scan your console output for something like this:

"Error buffer: Operation timed out after 30000 milliseconds with 131298 bytes received. "

If you are seeing this message it means you are not seeing the list because you are unable to download the data from our servers in enough time.

I'll look more into this this week and see if we can do something to help alleviate this problem in the future. We apologize for the troubles but want to let you know we will squash this issue eventually.
