*I just visited the forums, and there are countless threads about crashing, lagging, no response from servers and many trouble because of this 0.3.0 patch, but FYI, S2Crew are now doing their best to fix it and repair it so it can work properly soon, please be patient guys.I also haven't done updating mine.

do i have to uninstall my existing HoN?
for now don't uninstall it, wait for another update news from s2 crew, or maybe you can download the latest client, the 0.3.0 client, in case you uninstall it and you got the latest client, so you don't need to patch again..
hmmmm can't update..Im downloading new installer, hope that'll work. Its rather big update, new heroes perhaps :P?

A really quick fix is to create file tos.txt in the Root Directory of HoN Game folder (and maybe create compat_version.txt)
It's working for me and my friends (i just understand that by viewing the log)

Just create a blank file tos.txt in the root directory no need to do something else after.
downloading i hope it works :) i tried to reinstal 0.1.64 but it wount work .. crashes always .. we will see now with 0.3

Same thing happened to me, mate. Downloaded V0.3 for fresh install and played a full game. Was in the middle of another game and got disconnected. Now I cannot connect to the chat server.
S2 is probably doing some work on the patch/server atm is my guess.
yea creating those files didn't help, still crashes after it starts installing the update... says 0.3.2 for me not 0.3.0 tho

I always crash at the loading screen. The last bar of the last player in the game is almost finished loading and the visuals lock up. I can sometimes hear game sounds coming from the fountain, but I can't do anything. I can't even join after I ctrl+alt+delete out, restart hon, and try to join through the automatic prompt.

If they stay in beta any longer the game will never come out. Especially if a patch comes out and messes with the original coding of the game and makes it crash or not work. They have 3yr olds doing the programing? Come on guys we pay u money to fix these things either fix it or give the thousands of people who pre-paid their money back!

To anyone is here solely to complain about how the game is unstable and that S2 sucks for not being able to do a patch properly, gtfo, it's a beta. If you want stability, do us a favor and wait until the full game comes out.

tos did fix the problem must me server issues, i was also disconnected from chat and was unable to find any games, however, i was able to get into a few games but now i cant seem to log in is there a server maintainence right now? it says cannot log in bad data

can some1 help me plz? i dont know if its a setting on my router or something but whenever i try to join a HoN game a few min later it says no response from server and i get trown into the chat rooms again but other games like Dota or WoW works perfectly :<
