So, the time for Open Beta Phase has come, no more beta keys for you guys.
If you guys want to play HoN, only need to fill the information and register a new account in the HoN official website.Massive amount of player will come to HoN since it's open beta, be nice with them.
I hope my blog can help other people that are new in the Open Beta and HoN, for the Closed Beta player like me :
Bring more players to HoN and keep supporting HoN, also pre purchasing the acc would be good.

Just reminding you guys all, that today will be a big day, today is the Open Beta. I supposed to be busy with my blog, I want to see it and celebrate it too by doing a live streaming, checking the Hunter_'s news. But I'm afraid I'll be a little bit late, Today I'm going back to Lombok again at 4 PM, it takes 45-55minutes from here to Lombok, so estimated time I got arrived to Lombok will be at 5 PM, and doing some things in the Airport and blah blah blah, I'll be at home at 6 or maybe 7 PM.And for me it's a disaster, It's a big day but I don't want to be late, but unfortunately maybe I'll be late.If I'm just late, you guys just need to go to this post :

After a long wait, matchmaking is here. We've got tons of players playing tons of matchmaking games and we're thrilled to finally get it out to you guys.

Sorry I was late to get online and see my blog, today I got a bit busy day, then I can online now, and very happy to see many comments on my blog, also in the chatbox, but I also feel sad to see many of your comments saying about "crashing and other problems on the new patch".
I just updated mine to 0.3.0.2, no problems so far, I can play a game, but in the game, some people saying about buying an item bugs.
So what I want to tell you guys is, please be patient waiting for s2crew to solve, fix, and repair this massive patch problem.Some of lucky guys like me, maybe got their client work properly, but many of you guys got a RAGE because of this problem.Chill guys for now
Please leave a comment in this post for those who still having problem with the patch, also put what's your problem, I'll try to ask S2Idejder to read the comment.
Please do it wisely, no spamming like in the chatbox I got some porn link, I just deleted that, and sorry for this inconvinience guys.

CRASH - Download It Nao !

Since I got back from a dinner with my family, and see my blog, especially the 0.3.0 patch notes got 31 comments that saying " CRASH WHEN UPDATING", then I open the forum, got a thread about how to solve the problem, FYI, I haven't update mine, so I can't tell if mine is crashing or not.

*I just visited the forums, and there are countless threads about crashing, lagging, no response from servers and many trouble because of this 0.3.0 patch, but FYI, S2Crew are now doing their best to fix it and repair it so it can work properly soon, please be patient guys.I also haven't done updating mine.


Here's the solution :

* You can request friends when offline and they will get the notifications upon logging in, and approve at their convenience
* We might have to wipe current friends lists at some point in the future for this to work correctly.

I just give you guys a little screen shots of the new UI the FE2(Front End), but unfortunately, I can't give the test client changelog, and also, I got a little problem with my test client, the UI got a little broken so I need to re install it, but I can't, because it'll take so long time to patch again, remember I got a limited internet connection and also slow, so I'm sorry that I won't reinstall it and just wait till the 1.67 comes soon, it's a big balance patch and a cool patch guys, just wait !

Test client test patch - this Friday 3/12/2010

Hey guys - we plan to get a test patch up this Friday 3/12/2010

The test patch will include:
- New interface "Front End 2.0"
- Match Making testing
- Tutorial
- A slew of other fixes, balance tweaks, etc

Please note that we're putting this out a bit early - do not expect perfection, there will likely be a few misc bugs. We need your guys help to track + prioritize these bugs. The patch will be uploaded on Friday (it's not up yet) and testing will take place all weekend.

To participate in the pre-beta test client games, you'll need to participate in our IRC channel. This is open to anyone who wants to join. Our IRC information is:

I'll be going for 3 Days

Just want to tell you guys that today I'll be going to a camping for 3 days, there'll be no internet connection and no cellphone signal, that's why I'm afraid that for 3 days I can't update my blog if there is a new update.But as what we can see, lately we got new updates for a long time(just 1-3 new updates per week).So I'm sorry for this inconvinience, as soon as I come back(on Friday, today is Wednesday here) I'll update my blog as fast as I can.Hope you guys can understand it.Thanks.

Submission Rules

• Hero must be Strength
• There are no other rules.
• Your entry must be approved by the suggestions moderators before it will appear.
• The deadline is not yet announced.

Tips

• Take risks, be original. New heroes should be about new concepts not yet in HoN.
• Flesh out your suggestion. Use numbers, descriptors, and pictures. Presentation helps readers visualize your hero the way you do.
• Browse other heroes. All progress is based on borrowing developments from others. But be sure to give credit where credit is due!
• Use the resources. The root Suggestions forum has plenty of resources to aid you.

Fade Assassin - New Concept Art

So, another hero concept art, maybe the next upcoming hero, the 63th or 64th hero(should be released when the Open Beta).
So, let's just guess it, I think it's Mortred / Lanaya / Female Phantom Lancer/ Nerubian Assassin??

Also just FYI, a little sneak peek, Nome wisdom are going to have a significant change in the next patch, still gives aura but no armor, Idejder said to speculate on what will be the change?

0.1.67 Sneak Peek 2: Tutorial (and Deadwood balance!)

Pollywog Priest Remodel

So to jump right into it, here are the upcoming Deadwood balance changes:

This is a general sweeping rebalance of this hero to bring him more in line with where we want him. Reducing his lategame scaling slightly along with making his Oakbolt better and balancing the Punch a bit for earlygame.

Keep in mind other then internal games, these changes are generally untested. This is what the beta-beta build is for when we can make one.

0.1.67 Sneak Peek 1: Pollywog Priest - HUGE PATCH IS COMING SOON !

So, it's been a while since we gave an update with some content as to what we're working on, and as we draw closer to being able to release the next patch we plan to give you guys some sneak peeks of what it'll contain.

We'd like to apologize for the delay in this patch. We started some pretty ambitious goals (such as the new interface) and we refuse to settle for anything less than top quality. With that in mind, development dragged out a little longer than expected (isn't that always the case?). No worries, we're working around the clock to get everything taken care of and we're getting closer!

In the meantime I hope to entice you guys with some cool peeks at upcoming changes and content while we finish work here.

Right now, it's Pollywog time.

We said a while ago when the Honcast guys were here that we are remodeling and redoing the effects for Pollywog. And we did.
