There's a lot of discussion about the buyback change and why it was made, let me try to explain some reasoning behind making it a 2 charge system.
Buybacks are one of the best resource in the game right now. They allow players to fix mistakes, change the outcome of team fights, and keep the base alive. The advantages gained from buyback are so large that you typically see heroes save for buybacks rather than purchasing items.
Buybacks are mostly defensive measures when an enemy is pushing into the base. This makes it exceptionally hard to push down a rax even if you outplayed the other team. Another problem is a farmed hero doesn't truly die when killed repeatedly. This typically makes 1 overly farmed hero much more powerful than a team of 5 evenly farmed heroes.
The 2 charge buyback addresses these and encourages making good choices with buybacks. It also doesn't remove it from the game as an option, it's just no longer an infinite option.
Having a limit on buybacks also impacts how long games are. By not allowing infinite lives, teams can capitalize on picking off heroes or straight push knowing that one or more enemy heroes can no longer buyback.

Why the most alt avatars are women?
Most are woman because the original's are male and make it more interesting to have a female costume as well. ALthough it doesn't work the other way around
