Tyyka vs S2Nome Hero Discussion

A good to read post by Tyyka while waiting for the server to get back again.I read this post few days ago, havent post it until now.Its a head to head from Tyyka with his opinion and S2Nome as S2Staff.
Good discussion, and we can get some good information here too.

Note : 
Black and Blue is for Tyyka's opinion and Red is for S2Nome's answer

: Made worse with the changes, mines are a joke and his only major benefit to a team fight his ult got nerfed.
( Make turret aim like the old one but not effected by items, Lower cooldown and mana cost on mines by half but cut damage in half, bring back % damage dot of ult)

I agree is pretty bad right now. Gotta convince the others to buff him




Her abilties have a weird delay that can make it very hard to pull them off with trees around. Her ult is way to hard to get off in a team fight.
(Mez works wierd imo too easy to selfcast when trying to get off on a juking hero, remove SOTM damage boost instead make her unstunnable during channel *things that move her and sheepstick could still work)

We actually lowered her cast times recently, increased her range, and overall just gave her a ton of buffs. She's quite a monster right now in the hands of capable players. I don't think she's weak, and I think most other good players will agree with me.


All hard farm heroes have an uphill climb in this gank hard moba. But wildsoul suffers more than most by having to rely on the randomness of his bear root. Make it castable with half the time on it or make it a 20% slow or something. His ult is very bad, I don't care what you say but ranged is too strong in this game to sacrifice. It is only useful for killing kongor, stacks of ancients or if you are 1v1ing another melee hero. The slow really hurts and maybe if it was removed it might be useful but it is still a terrible ability and most games it is not worth taking before lvl 23. ALSO WHY IS THERE A STOP COMMAND TIED TO HIS ULT BOOST SO DUMB!!! RAGE
(Give bear castable root but lasts for only half time or gives a small slow instead, make ult his boost but stays ranged, or remove the slow, PLEASE REMOVE THE STOP COMMAND FROM ULT BUFF)

Always been very strong, just waiting for the right players to abuse.


His auto attack is the worst in the game, third ability worthless till late game. A hero that needs farm but cannot out last hit a snotter boss.
(Upgrade his auto attack animation , give him mana back from any death in an 450 aoe around him not just ones he does)

Still used competitively, fits well into pushing/healing lineups.
 


Overnerfed his ult very underwhelming. Unreliable silence.
( Good pusher but his ult is too hard to max out and the delayed damage from his final ult doesn't seem to do much, not an expert on the hero so I won't make suggestions)

See all competitive games he is picked. Gets rolled easily by any team with stuns i.e. all of them.
(Not sure what comp says about this hero but every comp game I have seen him picked he got rolled, just an hour ago he failed hard. Not sure what can be done, he is strong with farm and an amazing pusher but in a 5v5 he just gets shut down too easily. Needs something but I cannot think of what without changing the entire hero :/ but he is not in a good place it must be admitted)

Good luck finding any competitive players who think he should get big buffs :P
 


All invis heroes are broken, too many ways to reveal. Suggest removal of vanish and rework
(Make vanish a passive giving half the movespeed boost it does now and a 2 burst attack with a 3 second cooldown *melee sillyhat *)

One item counters her, until that is changed (which they did for hammer, bias much s2?) she is worthless.
(give her what you gave hammerstorm come on s2 that is all you need to do)

she's meta'd out right now due to less focus on farming-based trilane strats.

Needs more hard farm then any carry in the game, does not work with s2 focus on gank/semi mid game meta. Change abilities to make him power up faster.
(rewind castable regenning damage taken in the last second? Ulti SOTM effects built in? Passive give attack speed gain on each successive attack? Just some brainstorming)

He recently got buffed (as in, this patch). We can change him more if needed. Again, he doesn't fit in the current meta.

With buffs he is now officially the worst hero in the game (well maybe tied with eng but its close). Needs a complete rework or imo removal from the game no one would miss him.

(Give his ult a 20% evasion? Needs some way to survive with the presence of eyes/wards/dust in professional games)

Conditionally strong, needs to be a surprise pick to really do anything.


Random does not mix with moba games, rework or will always be a joke hero
(Sigh, why is a game where everything can be broken down is a 100% random hero considered balanced? When you attack someone and either do laughable damage or instantly kill them, how can you base your play off of that? Please please do something, make it charges like aluna using how many charges you want to make the multi what level you want, a few 2x or one 4x. I don't know but he just makes rage for whichever side gets screwed)

Random is fine. Blacksmith was one of the most imbalanced heroes in the game at one point just because Flaming Hammer's magic armor reduction didn't diminish and the projectile traveled faster.


Overnerfed , in the same boat as gaunt , good for the first 20 miinutes then becomes very weak, gaunt attack mod being the only thing that makes him not disappear end game against a hard auto attack carry. Also requires him to never die or loses all power. Even soulstealer keeps half his souls, why u no see a connection s2? Let him keep a charge or two and make his fly disjoint abilities again.

Would like to add that Tremble is pretty OP The slow that he has. He can just attack once and follow it up with more attacks till the hero is dead. I suggest a cooldown or a lesser slow. A 40% movement slow is to op imo.

IMO... DONT INTERVIEW ANY GM IF YOU KNOW THAT ALL HEROES FOR YOU ARE IMBALANCED... EVERY HERO HAS A DIFFERENT STRATEGY AND DIFFERENT TIMING OF PICKS. YOU JUST HAVE TO KNOW WHEN.. AND ALSO THE EFFECTIVITY OF THE HERO RELIES MOST TO THE PLAYER ITSELF.. SO DONT FLAME OF MOST HEROES BEING IMBALANCED...

I ALSO DISAGREE ABOUT bLOOD HUNTER NEEDING A REWORK.. DAMN.. HES A VERY STRONG HERO TO PICK IMO.. YOU NEED BRAINS TO USE HIM PROPERLY... THE ONLY THING IS THAT HIS ULTI MUST WORK WITH OTHER AREA DISPLACEMENT SPELLS ( for example TABLET OF COMMAND, ZEPH GUST, RAMPAGE ULTI, BLINK ) JUST TO HAVE A PROPER SYNERGY WITH OTHER HEROES.. HE IS GOOD IN HIS OWN WAY...
