Coming to Newerth this Friday !
First off I'd like to introduce myself as many of you do not know me! I've been working as a designer here at S2 Games for over a year now. I've played World of Warcraft 3v3 arena and Team Fortress 2 competitively, as well as a countless number of other games! The heroes I've designed so far are Dampeer, Flux, and Revenant.

Now, a little bit about the design of Shadowblade. I got the idea for the concept of the hero from the CAD Time to make a hero contest. (http://www.cad-comic.com/cad/20110805/#n2202) Cthuluphant ended up winning the contest, however I really liked the suggestion from one of the runners up, Alex Cook.
I decided to make a hero around the concept of the Shadowblade. My goal in designing the hero was to allow it to be built either Strength, Agility, Intelligence, or a combination thereof and still be very effective. I believe I have achieved that! So now I will leave it up to all of you to decide how best to build Shadowblade. Through much iteration and testing, I am happy to bring Shadowblade to Heroes of Newerth this Friday!
I do not want to spoil any of the specifics of the hero already, however here is a little teaser of Shadowblade's Abilities:

This concept is so far more interesting than cthlhu so i'm happy to see this hero comming this friday.
Could be really interesting if he's able to swich between the 3 stats i expect a versatile hero, something hybrid who can fit different role if needed.
So thx s2 from getting some awesome concept i hope we 'll get a pretty balanced hero, can't wait to see the skin also.

finally s2 is making progress .i'am happy when thinking that is something like Morphling and much more versatile.i hope that u wont make him very user-friedly,(i mean no super-duper autoattack dps or 1-button =mega heal or life drain(like Salphoris)), because i am sick of these picks lately.all pick warden = 6 s silence then autoattack.all pick thunderbringer 2 buttons=kill and even worse ra the meatshield.i love strong heroes but i want their dmg output not to be cast just with 1 or 2 buttons.i want combination of skills and strategy.for example drunken master is very nice hero but most prefer monkey who can do great dmg with 2 buttons.i dont say monkey is not good or u dont need skills to play him.of course but he can dps and has great mobility so u avoid battles easily.this makes him much more easy for noobs.however in good hands he is a great killing machine.thx for hero.love flux love gemini.love legionaire.love shilouete

I like the list of heroes you designed. Those are not heroes I hear complained about very often when it comes to S2 hating. Flux is an interesting hero considering the reach he has and team fight capability. Dampeer has multiple builds that make him viable in all phases of the game. Rev is a decent hero, I think he's another build/play how you want it hero. I look forward to the new hero!
DOes any1 find it annoying that alt avatars are so expensive now?
