NEW Heroes of Newerth Event Page!
With so many events going on in Heroes of Newerth, we know that our
players needed a better place to go for their HoN fix. As a result, we
have created a one stop place for Heroes of Newerth.
From this page, we'll be able to communicate what's going on at all the big events in HoN straight to you, the community! The first page event is, of course, Dreamhack Winter 2011. Many of us are on site at the event and there will be lots of stuff going on throughout the weekend. Make sure you stay tuned to our event page and on HoNTV to watch all the best players in HoN battle it out for the top spot!

DreamHack Winter 2011 is underway and with it comes one of the biggest announcements ever to grace the battlefields of Newerth.

Hello everyone!
Over the course of the past few months we felt the need improve the Report-A-Player system as it was not allowing us to achieve what was needed. The amount of reports sent in daily over the past two weeks alone was, on average, 2267. Out of 2267 reports submitted, GMs were able to successfully judge about 50% of those tickets. Of those 50% of tickets that were judged, over 50% were non-guilty tickets, meaning they should have never been submitted in the first place. After watching and analyzing the ticket trends over months we noticed that it follows a similar pattern.
Over the course of the past few months we felt the need improve the Report-A-Player system as it was not allowing us to achieve what was needed. NomeWisdom : Druid Hero Development #3 Final
Demented Witch Concept Art
This is the third and final piece detailing the continued development, and eventually death, of the Druid concept in HoN.
We left off three months ago with the Druid, then named Artemis, in a very peculiar spot. At the time of publication, the publicized design was already a week-old, and as many savvy commenters pointed out, was rife with problems. What happened the month-and-a-half post-publication was a frantic search for any possible way to salvage the design, and unfortunately I came to the conclusion that under my current design directives for the future of Heroes of Newerth, she was simply not feasible. Allow me to explicate.

spotlight video today, you may have noticed one hell of an Easter egg
announcement regarding our one and only MsPudding. As it turns out both
Pudding and Nome have decided to ride off in the sunset together. The
time has come for us all to bid the two of them farewell as they will
soon be leaving the lands of Newerth and the offices of S2 Games. Where
Pudding and Nome go from here, only time will tell, so let’s be sure to
give the both of them a proper send-off and best wishes.

Lord Saforis Coming Next Friday
Another mounted hero is coming to Newerth
All bow to Lord Salforis, the newest addition to Heroes of Newerth. It’s generally hard to have sympathy for the devil, but Salforis is an easy world-destroying villain to like! He's inspired by a community-made Dream hero and named after a lucky contest winner. On November 18th, don't forget to thank your fellow community members for your bountiful soul harvest.
(And Salforis himself. He has this thing about sacrifice and homage. You know how lords of darkness are.)
However, as you know, the Dark Lord has many forms. Which form will he manifest in next Friday? You'll have to wait for next week's hero spotlight to see!
