I am contemplating writing a short article on how decent Steamboots can be for your health and mana and I was wondering whether anyone had any comments to make on why Steamboots is such an amazing item - feel free to just comment on this blog and let me know.

In my personal opinion i like ghostmarchers more most for its movement boost. But i found steamboots really nice when you need too be alittle more tanky, like on myrmedon i use steamboots.

What I know about steamboots:
-when you use bottle, toggle it to agi so you get more hp and mana.
-when you cast a spell, toggle it to int first so you use less mana when you toggle it to something different.
-SteamBoots can be assembled with any +6stats component.
-In HoN you can carry more then just 1 SteamBoots.
-Steamboots cycle like this: STR AGI INT and back to the start.
-You can buy all SteamBoots components in the sideshop.
Hate to be a downer, but maybe you should have cleared it with an2x before writing this. Maybe you should write about something you know about for sure...
Truthfully I find steamboots to be one of those items I sware must be useful; but personally I haven't found my success story.
I mean sure on heroes like flint, steam boots give a nice stat boost, and the boots should make him less fragile. While keeping his other slots free up for better items mid/late game.
BUT I seem to live longer, and gank more successfully ghost marchers. And when I do get steamboats I don't really notice that much of a difference between switching between str/agi/int. and at late game it's even less noticeable.
Mean while I find ghost marchers useful even in late game.
Steam boots have the 2nd lowest base movement of any of the advanced boots. And because it doesn't have any 2nd speed based ability it's even more noticeable when your playing against marchers, advanced marchers, extra. Steam boots are the turtle boots of hon.
Plated Graves has at least a little bit better speed; and with the right hero graves are amazing for early/mid game lane pushes.
Plated Graves usefull more then SteanBoot even in late game
25% attack speed useless in late
For some hero who need survise in combat, build Plated Grave in them will make their enemy carry suck. Soul Reaper, Astersia, Legionare, Balphagore
